Grooming Talk for Rosyth School Students Day One
I truly salute the management of Rosyth School for giving their Primary 5 students (who are only eleven years old) a strong headstart over their other peers by getting image consultants like myself to coach their students. It truly amazes me. Stepping back into school grounds makes one young again. This is the irreplaceable beauty of the school compound. Who can forget the corridors outside the airy classrooms where all students wait earnestly for their teachers to come usher them back in for lessons? Who can forget those dark blue desks and plastic blue chairs? Who can forget students standing up …
Grooming Workshop For PSB Academy
I’m really blessed to be able to do what I enjoy doing. This is again validated by the invitation by PSB Academy to conduct a grooming talk for the undergraduates and postgraduates today. My first impression of the classroom which I was allocated for the 3 hour talk was excellent. In fact, the logistics support provided has now set the benchmark for all future workshops or talks. I especially like the small pen-sized microphone. Not only did it not hinder my movements, it also allowed me free rein to move around. And this I did to my full advantage today. The biggest worry …
Lunchtime Grooming Talks for IFS Capital Limited
It’s a wonderful feeling to be able to share my knowledge with others so that they too can improve the quality of their lives. More importantly, what I feel particularly blessed is the fact that I get to reach out to a wide segment of the market, ranging from corporations, schools to individuals. Depending on the needs of each niche, grooming workshops and talks are customised so as to give maximum value. I just wrapped up two lunchtime grooming talks for the staff of IFS Capital Limited. There were 28 attendees yesterday and 20 today. I really give credit to organisations who …
Grooming Workshop for PCI Limited
To be honest, I was a little taken aback when I walked into the seminar room today. Half anticipating a normally subdued crowd that needed some warming up, it was definitely not the case this time. Instead, I was bowled over by a super high energy group of about 43 participants from PCI Limited. And I was secretly happy because a high energy audience attracts a high energy trainer! I applaud companies like PCI Limited as it allocates the last Friday of each month as their in-service day. This is the time when its staff are given opportunities for personal …
Image Consultant Certification Programme
It’s been a remarkable journey since I started my image consultancy business in 2009. In the span of five years, I have single-handedly trained over 180 corporations, organisations, businesses and educational institutions combined. I have left indelible imprints in the hearts and minds of more than 5000 participants. This number does not include the private style coaching clients who engage me on a one-on-one basis. My students and ex-participants still connect with me via social media platforms like Facebook, Google+ and LinkedIn. My growth and reputation in this industry has been further boosted by the numerous media appearances, features and …
Grooming Talk for Rosyth School Students Day Two
I’m back at Rosyth School for the second day of my grooming talk. I’m taking a class of 42 students from Class Meticulous which is on the second floor. When I walked into the room, the students were already divided by gender. I was told the thoughtful teacher in charge had the boys separated from the girls to facilitate group discussion. Today’s presentation went extra smooth, probably because I took less time to settle the class down. I particularly liked the dynamics of the boy-girl divide as it aided the progress of the talk. There were no ‘boy bully girl’ …
Grooming Talk for Rosyth School Students Day Three
Today’s workshop started a little later than usual as the children were having a briefing session in the hall. Then I heard the sounds of running shoes as they came in one by one. Obviously not shy of seeing a foreign face in class, some of them smiled at me. That’s a good start, I thought to myself. Welcome to Primary 5 – Class Earnest! With the teacher in charge in class, 2 min was all it took for the class to settle down. And this class was more sporting as in there were no squabbles about one kid not …
