Q: What's the best way to beat bloatedness?

A: Eat a mixture of carbs, proteins and fat during every meal. It's easier for our bodies to digest a combination of foods. This helps prevent bloatedness.


Q: What is the No. 1 culprit behind weight gain?

A: Eating too much sugar and refined carbohydrates.

A: According to a recent study by the University of Bristol in England, 71% of the respondents improved their time management; 74% managed their workload better; 79% became sharper and more focused.


Q: Is there any particular time to avoid exercising outdoors?

A: Avoid exercising outdoors between 11am to 4pm where the sun's rays are the strongest.  If you must exercise, choose to do it indoors.


Q: How often should I replace my running shoes?

A: Replace your running shoes every 483km (ie. 300 miles) or at least once a year even if you have not used them much. This is because the rubber and foam dries out rendering them less shock-absorptive.


Q: What supplements can help in weight loss?

A: Try fish oil. Research shows that when combined with regular exercise, it helps to reduce belly fat. Take at least 1000mg daily.

A: Yes! It is a common misconception that just because guys have thicker skin, they can skip sunscreen. Go for at least SPF 15 - 20 to protect against both UVA and UVB.

A: You should finish each meal feeling for a satisfied, but never overly full.

A: Compared to fruits and vegetables, processed foods are high in food miles and contain added preservatives that our bodies can do without. Limit your consumption of processed foods and you will enjoy the benefits of a cleaner and healthier diet.
